Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks an Assistant Pre-Kindergarten teacher to join their Lower School. Berwick’s Pre-Kindergarten Program is based on the Reggio Emilia approach of creating a respectful and responsible community through exploration and discovery. This emergent curriculum approach is designed to be a half-day program with an extended day option and serves both three and four year olds. Qualified candidates will either have experience in this philosophy or a willingness to learn, the ability to foster positive relationships with students and their family, and an interest in collaboration with colleagues. Strong communication skills are also hallmarks of a successful candidate.  

This position begins in the 2018-19 academic year.
