Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks an assistant Pre-Kindergarten teacher to join their Lower School team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year (with an anticipated December start-date). Berwick’s Pre-Kindergarten program is based on a blend of social-emotional programming, project approach learning and homeroom and special subject instruction, with the ultimate goal of developing a respectful and responsible community through exploration and discovery. Qualified candidates will have experience working within an early childhood setting, will have demonstrated the ability to foster positive relationships with students and families, and will have a strong interest and skills in collaboration with colleagues. Strong communication skills and a  positive work-place approach within varied job-related tasks are also hallmarks of a successful candidate.
