Berwick Academy, a PK-12 co-educational independent day school located in southern Maine, seeks a Communications and Marketing summer intern for a 2-3 month appointment for 32 hours a week.

A successful candidate will have knowledge of and be excited about graphic design, photography, videography, website management, social media, and other digital media.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Graphic design elements

• Writing content for the website and other communications

• Website updates

• Contribute to social media pages

• Work on other special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Experience with social media management

• Videography and video editing skills a plus

• Ability to think creatively

• A bachelor’s degree (or working toward) in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field

• Experience with major social media platforms, Adobe Suite and Google products

• Proficiency in using DSLR or mirrorless cameras for photography and video production

This is a paid internship. Primarily reporting to the director of communications, this position will also work in collaboration with the Admission and Advancement teams as necessary.
