Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine, seeks a Part-Time Lower School Art Teacher. Ideal candidates would have experience teaching elementary school aged students as well as the flexibility to work with students ranging in age from three to nine years old. A qualified candidate will show evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of a range of students. A collaborative teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are also hallmarks of a successful candidate. Candidates can expect to teach visual art in grades pre-K through 4, collaborate with Lower School faculty colleagues on various curricular efforts, and help with recess/lunch duties in our Lower School.
