Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a math teacher to join our Upper School Faculty. Ideal candidates would have the versatility to teach all levels of Upper School math, ranging from Geometry and Algebra 2 through advanced Calculus, as well as an interest in helping to design more innovative math classes in the future.  A qualified candidate will show strong evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of high school students. A collaborative teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are also hallmarks of a successful candidate.  As a member of the Upper School Faculty, candidates can expect to teach four classes, serve as an advisor and coach two seasons of sports or lead equivalent afternoon responsibilities.  This position begins in the 2017-18 academic year.
