Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a second grade teacher to join their Lower School. The second grade program is based on a blend of social-emotional programming, project approach learning, and homeroom and special subject instruction, with the ultimate goal of developing a respectful and responsible community through exploration and a love of learning.  Qualified candidates will have experience working with this age group, will have demonstrated the ability to foster positive relationships with students and families, and will have a strong interest in collaboration with colleagues. Instructional skills in math, reading, and writing, along with group project work and communication skills are also hallmarks of a successful candidate.  

This position begins in the 2025-26 academic year.
