Join Berwick Academy as our Director of Flexible Tuition and Associate Director of Admission! In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with families across all divisions—Lower, Middle, and Upper School—to help ensure that a Berwick education is accessible to students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. Partnering with the Interim Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing, you’ll play a key role in growing and shaping our applicant pool, with a focus on both mission-aligned outreach and equity in the admission process. This is an exciting opportunity to engage deeply with families, guide them through the Flexible Tuition process with clarity and care, and support our commitment to building a vibrant, inclusive community.
Responsibilities:

Work with the Interim Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing to develop and execute Flexible Tuition strategies, related to recruitment, enrollment management, and retention.

Partner with the Interim Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing to set budgets and strategy for need-based flexible tuition remission, and merit awards

Manage all parts of the Flexible Tuition process for both new and returning families:

Create and schedule all process and timeline communications for all families.

Educate families on the benefits of Flexible Tuition and the application process.

Manage the Clarity financial aid application process and work with families to meet deadlines.

Process and review all applications in Clarity and partner with families to ensure their applications are complete.

Oversee all aspects of the Flexible Tuition committee.

Maintain all information and records in the Clarity, OnBoard, and Google spreadsheets.

Collaborate with families throughout the Flexible Tuition process.

Stay current on all financial aid best practices and attend professional development conferences.

Undertake special projects including market research and website enhancements

Contribute to branding, marketing strategies, and social media campaigns

Support Pre-K through Grade 12 admission efforts as needed, meeting with families, assisting with events and traveling to feeder schools.
Qualifications:

5+ years of admission and financial aid experience in an academic setting

Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel; Experience with OnBoard and Clarity software preferred

Advanced data manipulation capabilities and exceptional analytical skills

A big-picture, strategic thinker who is flexible, highly detail-oriented, and has impeccable follow-through skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with families compassionately and diplomatically.
