Berwick Academy, a PK-12 coeducational day school located in Southern Maine seeks a dynamic teacher to complement our expanding upper school science program. Ideal candidates would have the skills and versatility to teach physics, engineering and computer science. A qualified candidate will show significant evidence of exceptional teaching and a keen understanding of the developmental needs of high school students. A collaborative/interdisciplinary teaching approach and instructional leadership skills among peers are also hallmarks of a successful candidate.  As a member of the Upper School Faculty, candidates can expect to teach four or five classes, coach one or two seasons of sports or lead equivalent afternoon responsibilities, and serve as an advisor.  This position begins in the 2018-19 academic year.
